It's begining to look a lot like Christmas around here! What's it like where you are? Do you have feet of snow or are you going to suffer from a green Christmas? It has yet to be seen what the Jolly Red Fellow will see when he arrives in Fredericton, NB

This is the last sketch of 2011! We are going to change some things up in the new year. Stay tuned!

Sketch # 6 - Fall Favorites

Fall is absolutely my favorite time of year. We have beautiful colors at every turn. This also seems to be the time of year that I am most inspired and most productive. Perhaps it's the scrapbook I am working on for my baby sister's 18th birthday or the jewelry I am frantically trying to make for Christmas, but I just seem to get more done in these months. 

Our lovely ladies this time around produced some great examples here!

Hello again to all my friends, I'm glad you came to play.....  oh wait... am I quoting Barney? I think its time to get some time away. Hahaha!

Can you believe it's October already? What are some of the things you love about Fall? I love the fall colors and the leaves falling. Fall temperatures sit much better with me then the searing heat (sorry to all you Sun Babies out there). The best thing about Fall?? Everyone gets back to scrapping this time of year! 

Here is a simple sketch that I came up with that can be manipulated and mastered to suit every style. Enjoy!

SKETCH # 4 - Crop for the Cure

This past weekend, my LSS held a special Crop for the Cure event to raise money for our local Run for the Cure team.  We had a fantastically pink time with great company, great prizes and great fun!

I decided to dedicate this reveal to our Ta-Tas with a special pink sketch. 

This sketch was provided to all the participants at our Crop for the Cure event. Everyone completed a LO and entered for a fantastic prize provided by A PILE OF SCRAP!. The winner was determined by votes from the participants.  

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Sorry for the delay ladies (and gentlemen??). Hurricane Irene visited us last week and the 14 hour power outage fried my modem and we had to wait 5 days for a technician to come and fix us all up. Don't these companies understand that we have scrappy inspiration to share??

Each of these examples documents someone special in each of our lives. Whether it be our children, our nieces or nephews, or our beloved four legged friend, each LO that we create takes a little bit of us at that very moment and commits it to paper.

You have found your way to A PILE OF SKETCHES!  We are so very excited to be starting this new adventure of our own sketch blog. We have been so inspired by others and hope to pay it forward. 

We will not have a DT persay, just some wonderful ladies who are willing to help out every now and then so we very much encourage you to participate because you never know when we may need some help!
